Taylor-Renae LaValley, local musician, recently presented Hospice of the North Country (HONC) staff with $1,005 that was raised at a benefit concert she hosted at Olive Ridley’s in Plattsburgh. “We are so grateful to Taylor for organizing this amazing concert and to everyone who attended and gave their support,” said Cathlyn Lamitie, HONC Director of Development/Communications. The concert featured performances by LaValley and other area musicians as well as a silent auction and bake sale. LaValley was happy with the event and plans to make it an annual event. “Hospice was so great to us when my father and uncle were sick. We just wanted to give back,” said LaValley.
