Hospice of the North Country, a nonprofit committed to providing specialized end-of-life care to those living in Clinton and Franklin counties, has been selected as a beneficiary of the Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program for the month of February. "Our Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag program is a great way for our customers to support local organizations,” said Steve Williams, Hannaford Store Manager. “You not only get a nice reusable bag and save plastic bags from going to the landfill, you get to help a great organization, Hospice of the North Country.”

“We are extremely grateful and excited that Hannaford has chosen to support our organization,” said Cathlyn Lamitie, Hospice Director of Development/Communications. “We appreciate the thoughtfulness of those purchasing a bag on our behalf.” As a non-profit organization, Hospice of the North Country is able to protect the dignity of those with terminal illness and provide bereavement services to families with the generosity of community members.
