CFO Joins Hospice of the North Country


Hospice of the North Country is pleased to have Magen Renadette as its Chief Financial Officer and key member of its leadership team.

As the CFO, Renadette is responsible for strategic financial leadership, planning, implementing, and management of the organization’s Finance Department activities. As a member of the leadership team she will help shape and execute a strategic plan that is designed to ensure patients and families receive exceptional hospice care by compassionate and skilled health care professionals. “Magen has extensive knowledge of the Federal and State financial regulations that govern Hospice,” said Kent W. Brooks, CHPCA, HONC CEO. “Her financial expertise will be integral to maintaining our financial viability so that we are able to continue providing care to our patients and families.

Renadette has extensive experience in public accounting and auditing. Most recently, she was a Financial Analyst at Union College in Schenectady, NY where she performed financial reporting and analysis for the College. Prior to that, Renadette was a Senior Audit Associate with, KPMG, LLP in Albany, N.Y. where she was responsible for coordinating the auditing and analytical procedures of several clients including Albany Medical Center, Ellis Hospital, Saratoga Hospital, and the General Electric Company, Inc. Renadette earned a Masters in Business Administration at Union Graduate College in Schenectady and Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Siena College in Loudonville, N.Y. Renadette, a native of Chazy Lake has relocated to Plattsburgh with her husband so they can contribute to the community they grew up loving.  “I am very excited to be working for such a wonderful organization that helps patients and families in their time of need.”
