Hospice of the North Country is hosting an online auction fundraiser from November 5-8. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Hospice of the
North Country has cancelled its normal face-to-face fundraising events and is pivoting to online events in an effort to make up for a fundraising shortfall. “Without our normal fundraising events we’re seeing a significant decline in our fundraising dollars,” said Cathlyn Lamitie, Hospice Director of Development. “But, we’re hopeful that people will be excited and respond to this auction.” Hospice is currently
seeking donations of new and unused items including pottery, gift baskets, gift cards, sports memorabilia, artwork and accessories. If you would like to make a donation, call Cathlyn Lamitie at 518.483.3200. The online auction will open at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 5 and will remain open until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, November 8. You will be able to bid on items by visiting hospicenc.org. The auction will include items such as area restaurant gift cards, jewelry, electronics, food, and wine. The generosity of auction item donors and auction participants makes a difference and helps Hospice of the North Country fulfill the mission of helping people of the North Country die in spiritual, mental, and physical comfort.
Every bid will make a difference!
