Light up a Life
Hospice of the North Country warmly invites the community to its 35th annual Light Up a Life Memorial Tree display, running from December 1 through December 24 at the Champlain Centre food court.
This cherished holiday tradition in the North Country offers a meaningful way to honor loved ones during the holiday season. With a donation of any amount, participants can personalize a heart or star with the name of a loved one to be displayed on one of the Memorial Trees.
The event will also feature an exciting raffle, with items generously donated by community members. Highlights include a $470 Lottery Raffle Tree, artwork, and a Bose speaker.
“The success of this event is thanks to the incredible community members, staff, and volunteers who dedicate their time to sit at the table throughout December,” said Cathlyn Lamitie, Development Director of Hospice of the North Country. “We’re so grateful for everyone’s support.”
Adding to the festive atmosphere, three musical acts will perform throughout the month:
Northeastern Clinton Central School Jazz Ensemble: Monday, December 2, from 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Taylor LaValley: Friday, December 6, at 5:00 p.m.
Synchronized Saxes: Thursday, December 19, at 5:30 p.m.
“We hope shoppers will take a moment to pause from the holiday hustle and enjoy the beautiful music,” said Lamitie. “We’re incredibly thankful to the talented musicians for sharing their time with us.”
